CR - Parameter values generated dynamically from a source view column do not include all values

Hello --

The list does not show values from the source view ... only the parameter values selected in the last run of the report.

Can the dynamic list be generated from another view in the datasource? If so, can you point me to instructions on how to do this?

The values for the parameter will increase over time; naturally, we don't want to add each new value to a hard-coded list of static values.

You can add the view in the Database Expert. Do not link to any other tables if it is not needed.

A Database Warning will pop-up:
[tt]"More than one datasource or a stored procedure has been used in this report. Please make sure that no SQL Expression is added and no server-side group-by is performed"[/tt]
Click OK (Assuming you are not using SQL Expression or server-side group-by)

Create a new dynamic parameter and use the view you added to pull the data.
