CR crashes when I select more than one table

Crystal Reports crashes reconstructably often when I select more than 1 table from my Oracle Database. After closing the Data-Explorer, the program does not respond.
What are possible reasons for and solutions to this problem?

One question:

The program simply doesn't respond or the computer doesn't respond ?

That's because I've got a problem with a crash in CR before... If the problem is the same I can help

The problem is that the program does not respond. The computer is fine.
I guess it has to do with the automatic link generation CR does when I select the tables... ???

Or any driver connecting to the database...

My problem was different... sometimes, accessing databases, my entire computer crashed. I discovered in Seagate's Site that it happened because my graphic card was a Savage S3 and I was working in true colors... changing my settings (incredible, no ?) to 16 bit of colours, it never crashed again...

But in this case I doubt I can help you :-(

Kersten,

Try turning off auto-smart-link before you open up the tables, that won't create all the links that you think might be causing CR to lock up. It's in File/Options.
