Hey,
my programm has to print some reports. It works fine on my laptop. If I make a setup from my program and install it on another computer I got the message that Crystal32.OCX is missing or defect.

So I tried a little tool named dependancy walker to find the wrong DLL. This tool shows me the MPR.DLL as the mistake. But on the target-laptop this DLL is already installed.

Next I tried the paket-installer from VB6. Here I got the message that
P2SSTDE.DLL and
SSCSDK80.DLL
are missing. Who can help me with my big problem?
Best regards
Rainer

O sorry, I've forgotten to post it.
It's CR 8 developer edition.

Does the crystl32.ocx file exist in your setup package and/or on the client machine?

If it does then it may not have been registered properly.

Have you tried manually registering it?

You should also read the runtime.hlp file for what files you need to deploy with the OCX.

Forget out MPR.dll (red herring in DW) and the sscsdk80.dll is a charting support driver that also requires pg32conv.dll.

(note: next time have a look at forum 768 for posting integration ?'s)

Cheers,
