I have a main report with 2 sub reports. I use ReCrystallize Pro to display my report on a web page, then convert it to a PDF. Before installing CR 8.5 SP 3, I was getting the following error when displaying the report both in Crystal, and from the web page.

Crystal Reports ActiveX Designer error '80047642'
The page size was not large enough to format the contents of an object in the report.

Now I am only getting the error when I call the report from the web site, which unfortunately is where I need it to run. Any ideas? Like I said, it went away in Crystal, like the documentation says it should after installing SP 3. Maybe I need to re-create the web version since installing SP 3?

Sounds like the web version doesn't have the proper DLLs.

No idea what the "web version" means, but that sounds like the culprit.

Hi,
Be sure to have a printer defined on the web server that matches the one used to design the report...

Recrystallize Pro is a little piece of software that helps you turn your Crystal Reports into web reports. You can select to have them open in a number of ways. I chose PDF. I have about 20 other reports that work like this, but never have I come across this error. This is, however, my first report using sub reports, and in the research I have done, this error is not uncommon when using sub reports, but none of the suggested resolutions worked for me, which is why I am asking on here if anyone has any ideas.
