CR 9.0 with SI 7.5

SI 7.5 CR 8 is installed on my workstation which I use for administration and report design to be published to our 7.5 environment.

Can I install CR 9.0 on my workstation in order to begin development and updating reports for our new CE 9.0 environment?

So basically - can I install CR 9.0 on my workstation where I run SI 7.5 with integrated CR 8.0? Will they work side by side?

The theory is that it can coexist, but I've yet to test it...

I was feeling lucky - so I just went for it.

I am now running SI 7.5 w/integrated CR 8 along with CE 9.0 Pro Tools and CR 9.0 Pro all on the same machine and they're all playing nicely together.

Just make sure you do not modify any of your Version 8 report files with CR 9 and expect SI to run them.

The older engines will not be able to run the files.
