Hello all,
I'm trying to update HP EFS 5.62a to version 5.66a on a ML570 Gen2 with 4 CPUs. I was told first I need to remove all patches including the old version of EFS and Symmetrical Multiprocessing then install EFS and install all the patches again then Symmetrical Multiprocessing. Then just re-licence the SMP licences and the SCO Enterprise licence.
I've done all this rebooting the server every time it asked after a kernel re-link. Now when I boot the server I cant CONTROL-D for normal start-up and have to enter the admin password.
When I INIT 2 for multi-user mode everything looks fine except I get
UX6update: Error: Cannot bind to Processor 1. When I looked in /usr/adm/messages I had and error warning CPU2 did not finish boot code.
Anyone any ideas?
Many Thanks,
James
