Hello all!

I am looking to purchase some kind of software that will run on a workstation and give me a profile of basic information about it like:
CPU type/speed
Memory amount
Hard drive space (used/free and max)
Programs installed

Even better if it can export to a text file or something. I would appreciate any recommendations you may have, or what to avoid using. Thanks in advance!

That looks like an awesome piece of software, and I thank you for the recommendation, however their license does not allow for use in a corporate environment. While the goal of this tool is for "my personal use" in helping my job become less taxing, that's really a stretch on terms.

If anybody has other suggestions I'd love to hear them. :)

PS- I'm staring you Franklin because your suggestion was wonderful based on my post (which lacked the detail that I need to use this for more than just personal use).

Have you tried SiSoft Sandra 2000 Pro? The free version doesn't allow for export of results, but the shareware might (around $29). It does benchmarking and system info.

It sounds like you need a LAN reporting package. If that's the case I found a program called LanAuditor that uses a remote probe you install on the workstations and it reports back to your console.

I prefer (and all our techs now use) Aida32.
