Hello,

I want to know if there are socket convertes available so i can convert a Socket 7 PC to Socket 370, 423 I doubt that there would be one for 423 anyway.

Thanyou, IF you could also include a web site that would be great.

Thanx again,

Asus P5-AB
w/ K6-2 550
128MB Ram
10/100 NIC
32mb GeForce 2 MX
Ess 1868 16-but sound card

Just basic stuff listed for reference.
:)

I don't believe there is any such thing, in any case it is very doubtful if an old socket 7 motherboard would run the later CPUs All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.

Yeah there are converters but i dont know a link for any.I dont like and wont use them personally but hey do what you got to do.

I have to agree with Mulga on this one, I haven't seen a socket 7 to 370 converter and for the same reasons dought if their is such a thing. Martin Just trying to help, sometimes falling short, I am only human after all.

If you're planning on upgrading processors just get a new motherboard. You're about up to snuff on the other resources.
