CPU Load

Hi All,

I have a customer who's main number hits AA and the options point to skill sets. They are complaining incoming calls have started dropping mid conversation, I can see nothing other then "CPU load above tolerance 98% for more than [5] minu" in the alarms, can anyone shed some light as to what this actually means and what I need to do???

I had that on a BCM 400 release 4.0 system. I can't remember the exact fix, but we found loads of dirt inside the BCM and therefore gave it a thorough clean out. Also reseat some of the connections etc. The grills were also blocked.

After it had be powered down for the clean it, the problem stopped after the reboot. We also made sure that the latest Sysyem and desktop patch updates were installed and applied.
