CPU Idle time & run queue

Hi,

I am executing this command on a pSeries 690 LPAR running AIX 5L ver 5.1

I found that frequently, the number of threads in the run queue is high, even though the CPU idle time is high, too.

Can any one tell me why is it so?
Why there are lot of threads in the run queue, when the CPU idle time is high?

The output is as shown below:

rq can be (4-5)*(# of cpu's). You have no problem.
