CPND question when phone rings

Hi. Great forum here, this is my first post. I have an Option 11C and this is the problem I have. When ever the phones ring, the CPND doesnt come up until you pick up the phone, so you are not able to screen the call ahead of time. The switch is a shared switch with some other agencies, so I am not sure what may have happened, but in the past CPND used to come up before you picked up the handset and it was also that way on another switch at a previous job, so I am assuming there is a fix for this. My switch knowledge has been limited in the past to mostly MM and phone sets.

Try using "TDD" in the CLS. This should allow you to see who is calling prior to picking up the receiver.

Go into LD 22 and print the dchannels. ( ld 22 PRT type = adan dch
The recap prompt should be set as ND2 (name delivery method 2 which presents caller info before you answer call, as compared to ND1 which shows info after you answer). The dchan will have to be disabled befotre this prompt can be changed.
 
Thanks guys, I am actually in a training class this week and asked about this question and they also told me to change the class to TDD, but they didnt say anything about the ND1 ND2. I will have to check it out. Thanks again.
