After a upgrade to RLS 3 from rls 21 the site no longer displays the CPND across the network to 81c running 25.40b,
also the NAS config went away during the software conversion, and had to be re-built. The names from the 81c are displayed at the upgraded remote, but no display from the remote to 81c. Any ideas?

Thanks Mikeet

If the Dchannel had to be rebuilt to make NAS work, make sure ND2 was added back into the RCAP

cpm23,
The Dchannel info was there, it was the the Nas info in LD86 that went away along with the NAS key on the console.

after you rebuilt the d, did you dis the card and enl with a fdl? that card uses the last download data, not the show run you see when you print it..

Check to see what the release level of the Dchannel at the 81C is set at. When you print that Dchannel in the 81C you will see that RLS prompt.

bad news on that post is you can't add a nortel rls greater then your rls. when rls 21 was built, they didn't know enough about rls 3 to build that into it. you may need a patch, i have rls 21 on an 11 in a remote office, when i took the 81 to rls 3, i did not have any problem with the name display, the rls on the d in the option is *.. unknown.

We have changed the rls id to 25 at the 81C side and did a FDL at both sides ND2 is in both sides, Patch's are what I am thinking also.
