I'm trying to do CPN Substitution with a 3300 and NI2 PRI NSU. Only the number not the name.
So per example, I have extension 1234,1235 and 1666 that need to be shown as 3457668923 on the PRI (fake numbers).
What is the bare minimum parameters required on both the 3300 and NSU?

-NSU-
In "Outgoing CPN Setup" I have :
DID Ranges : 1234-1235,1666
CPN Substitutions : 3457668923
In "Outgoing Call Characteristics" / "Trunk CPN Tables" for Voice I have :
Default CPN : 3457667272
DID Ranges : 1234-1235,1666
CPN Substitutions : 3457668923 (checkmark)

-3300-
Pretty much nothing? A CCS Trace shows that, per example, extension 1234 sends "1234" as caller id to the NSU.

Am I missing something?

On the NSU using the serial cable, enter:

options +dispcall

Then make a call, observe and report the digits being sent to the telco.

I was up to that stage as well. That means the config seems to look fine to you then?
Sadly, I'm not on site. So I'm waiting for a reply from a tech over there to see if it's possible for him to get a serial connection going.
Is there a port we can use for a PuTTY session with the NSU's IP address to get the same interface as the serial connection? I don't recall.

The CPN substitution requires 2 programming steps that you've stated are done. (config and activation)

You can remotely connect into the NSU and I vaguely remember being able to do these commands but how to connect escapes me.

I managed to get a serial connection through a remote PC and the NSU is sending the correct digits. So back with the telco *again*. The config of the NSU is fine.
Thanks for the confirmation.

On the upside, having hard data to "prove" your system is an attitude changer typically
