Hi Guys,

This customer have SIP trunks with one provider, however this provider gives this customer DIDs from three different countries.

This way, customers in country A can contact us by dialling a local number, so customers in country B and C can call the correspondent local number.

The problem we have is when our client makes outbound calls, he requires that when making a call to numbers in country A, the receiving end sees our DID from country A, and when making calls to countries B and C, customers will see our DID from country B and C.

Is this possible with the MCD CPN substitution? if yes, how we do it.

If no, is this something we need to ask the provider to do?

Thanks a lot, Regards,

Daniel

I have a similar situation in my office. Although the DIDs just represent different companies. I'm not to sure if this approach works with SIP Trunks. In my office I have a mix of 5320s and 5330s phones. What you can do is create a new device for each of your Countries local DIDs, and assign them an extension. Then program that extention in the CPN Substitution Form to outpost the correct phone number. So now anytime that extension dials out, the system should outpost the phone number programmed in the CPN Substitution. The last part requires making a new multicall button(For the extension programmed in the CPN Substitution Form) on all the phones that you want to be able to dial out with that number.
To actually dial out you need to select the appropriate button and dial your outbound number like usual.

For example I have 3 different numbers that need to be displayed on certain calls

I set up three devices 7000, 7001, 7002.

I programmed the CPN Substituion form so that
7000 outposts Company A's phone number
7001 outposts Company B's phone number
7002 outposts Company C's phone number

Then on all my sales peoples phones, I added a new multicall button for each of the extensions.
So now if my Sales people want to talk to someone regarding Company A, all they do is hit the Company A button and dial the phone number.

I hope this helps. I currently run a 3300.

Jonathan
