Hi guys, hope you can help.
I have a Nokia IP330, the first time I ran cpconfig, it went through the configuration stages i.e. asking me if I wanted distributed intallation or integrated etc

After this process is completed obviously now when I run cpconfig, it brings up a menu screen where I can choose i.e. to add licence, etc

If I wanted to get it back to the original mode where it goes through the initial config/install again, can someone tell me the exact command I need to use to delete the config file, so it goes back to the original mode

You would have to uninstall the firewall and start again. Stop the firewall (cpstop), log into Voyager and go to System comfiguration > Manage Installed Packages. You will have to switch off the active packages and then you can just delete them. Give the box a reboot and then run 'newpkg -i' again. Reboot after the install and then run cpconfig.

I presume that you need to run it again because you selected the wrong option (stand alone or distributed) during the initial config?

Hi,
That really helped, yes you're right I did choose the wrong options.
I'm new to Nokia, just got myself a Nokia IP330 firewall.
One more thing, the version of checkpoint on my Nokia box is FW-1 Version 4.1, running IPSO 3.6, and I running Checkpoint Firewall FP4 with AI as my Management Console, and SmartDashboard, obviously I get 15 days valuation copy of the licence for management console, but have no licence for my Nokia box, when I try intalling policies I get the message failed and on the Nokia box it say no valid licence.

Can you help me with a copy of checkpoint firewall NG or higher package for the Nokia box, as well as give any advice to overcome his problem
