I HAVE A CICS 6.1 WITH CALL PILOT 100. WHEN AUTO ATTENDANT ANSWERS CALL AND CUST. HANGS UP IT TAKES TOO LONG FOR THE CP TO DISCONNECT THE LINE. LINES ARE PROG. LOOP ST,PUBLIC,SUPERVISED.IS THERE SOMETHING I AM MISSING IN THE CP SOFTWARE? THANKS RAY.
You may need to confirm that the CO is sending a DS signal. It should not take very long. How about when you call into an extension...do you get the same problem (call in, disconnect far end and see how long it takes to release), or only with the VM.
From a station check disconnect time from call on hold.... ie call in, place call on hold, hang up device you called in on and time the disconnect of the line appearance. If same disconnect time is experienced as CP, then try making your disconnect timer to 250. If that doesn't work go with the above suggestions. They are good ones.
