cp100 and call center 1

I have yet to work on anything but cintech acd's and i have a customer who is going to go with pretty much what ever i say.I have never seen the call pilot acd and the impression i get is that it sucks"basic call center" can we all add anything to point to a reliable solution? customer is on 8x24 5.1 startalk 2.0.4lc and a pc based cintech preludei was going to say a cics and cp 100"being told by clueless sales guy they are co-res"or 2 cp 100 other option is 0x32 and a cp for vm and a nam for acd"way to expensive"any feed back is always appreciated

First of all let me say that you can't have 2 cp on one system .The call pilot requires one range of fixed feature codes for both voice mail and ACD (its not like the flash or the NAM )as result of that co-resident of 2 cp its not an option. The ACD on the call pilot its not that bad but it depend on the customer requirements, you mentioned he has prelude so I think the cp ACD will be downgrade (prelude has 15 active agents, 3ACD groups, 60 configured agents and 30 assigned lines, on the other hand the cp ACD 10 active agents and 2 groups, 48 assigned lines) but again all depends as the needs for the customer. The other option of 032 and NAM for ACD and a cp for VM it’s not bad I used that in 2 locations it works ok (not great).I hope that helps.

yes the CP ACD compares to a minuet ... as sam said ..its a downgrade from prelude.
our nortel rep doesnt know if and when they are coming with a prof call center (like in hte BCM)
 
so is it the same as minuet ...do you invoke it at letas say 9 am and then shut it down at 5 via a feature code

Far superior to Minuet also the reporting package with all of it;s faults is superior to INFOCUS.
Scheduling is done via the CallPilot interface.
Instead of answering via AA you select CC and enter the skillset/group number.

Professional Call Center although dumbed down from pro on BCM should be available November 2004.
Similar to BCM 3.6 the reporting package will also be completely rewritten.

Documentation ships on the CallPilot doc CD with every new CallPilot.
CC is also included with CallPilot 150.
Keycode required for CallPilot 100.
