We have CallPilot 5.0 with our CS100E and all of our users have Desktop messaging set up to integrate their VoiceMail and Outlook 2007 email. We are soon going to roll out an upgrade to Office 2010. In our initial testing the CallPilot Desktop Messaging Client locks up the Outlook 2010 solid. I really need to make this work and any assistance would be appreciated.

Update to the Latest desktop version CP500_Desktop_05.00.41.141

The Callpilot desktop messaging is actually just an IMAP app and can be accessed as such.

How to setup Outlook 2010:
1. Note: CallPilot v4 or v5 Desktop Messaging client does NOT need to be installed at all However, I did have to install the NMplayer.exe to listen to messages.
2. Open Outlook 2010 and select File>Account Settings (or access the Outlook Mail Profiles via the Control Panel>User Accounts>Mail or change the Control Panel "View by:" option to "Large icons" or "Small icons" and select "Mail")
3. Within the "E-mail" tab, click "New", select "Manually configure server settings or additional server types", click 'Next"
4. In the "Add New Account">"Choose Service" window, select "Internet E-mail"; click "Next"
5. In the "Add New Account">"Internet E-mail Settings" window, Enter "Your Name:", an "E-mail Address" in a valid format, change the "Account Type:" to "IMAP", enter your Callpilot IP or DNS address (10.154.0.50) in the "Incoming mail server", enter your organizations' existing SMTP server's IP/DNS address (10.152.4.1) in the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP):" block; next enter your voice-mail box extension in "User Name:" (e.g. 51532) and your voice-mail box password or pin number under "Password:" (e.g. 1111); leave the "Require logon using SPA" box unchecked6. Click "Test Account Settings" to test the settings; then click "More Settings" to make some refinements, primarily which would be under the "General" tab on the "Mail Account" block; change the name here to better title the resulting .pst file that will be created – name it something like 'Voice Mail' or 'Call Pilot'. In the Sent Items tab click the 'Save Sent Items to a folder on this computer' option and then in the Delete Items tab click both the 'Mark items for deletion but do not move them automatically' and the 'Purge items when switching folders while online' options and click OK then Finish.

Thanks Reusser,
I did obtain a copy of CP500_Desktop_05.00.41.141 and installed it on one of our Windows 7 systems with Office 2010. It did not lock up the Outlook, but it did not provide the level of integration I was expecting. The install program did not request that I select the Inbox where the Voice Items would land in Outlook and in fact the voice-mail does not integrate with the Outlook at all. The Installer did install the System Tray Notification icon and the Audio Player but without being able to locate the voice items I don't see what value the player has. The Icons for "New Callpilot Message", "Contact Sender" and "Call Directory" are not installed in the Outlook either.
I have asked my vendor and haven't gotten an answer from them yet.

Any help would be appreciated!
