Is it possible to change the ring pattern for incoming coverage points at all? More specifically a coverage answer group as point 1. The coverage answer group that covers the presidents secretary's phone would like the ring to be distinctive when those calls come to them.

Thanks

No, this is not possible.

Maybe you can set up priority calling for this?

I'm not sure what you mean by "set up priority calling" Susan... Any ways this problem was brought up again yesterday by some one in the answer group. So I tried using a bridged appearance on her phone and added that number to the answer group while removing her number from it. Thinking that with bridged call alerting activated it would ring differently but as it turned out it didn't ring at all but gave a visual bell icon on her 2420 phone. So that was no help as she wants to hear it when she is not at her desk. Looking back at it I think the problem may have been that she is using ring pattern 4 instead of 1 not sure though:(

You can set ring options for bridged calls on page 2 with bridged alerting and per button ring control but the only options for changing the ring is to make it ring, no ring, delayed ring or a single ring.
