We were given a task to put stations in coverage with each other by this format:

if calling Ext 1:
Ext 1 - -> Ext 2 - -> Ext 3 - -> Ext 4

if calling Ext 2:
Ext 2 - -> Ext 3 - -> Ext 4 - -> Ext 1

if calling Ext 3:
Ext 3 - -> Ext 4 - -> Ext 1 - -> Ext 2

if calling Ext 4:
Ext 4 - -> Ext 1 - -> Ext 2 - -> Ext 3

- provided that no there's no answer or the line is busy.

It looks as if it seems that the path is in ascending order.

We have managed to create a coverage path for 4 phones. My question is, what is the best way of doing this in case that many extensions are configured to this format. For example 15 extensions. Thanks

Kurayami,

1- if they are all analog stations:

When you go to page 1 of the station page
look at the top of the page middle column last item - "hunt-to-station"
here you would just put the next ext. # in-line and build
a hunt group. if you want circular when yo get to the last one just put the first ext. in the line or leave it blank for a straight hunt.
---------------------------------------------------------
2- Your other option would be to build your coverage paths
entering 6 extensions per path.
At the top of the page you will see below the cov. path number "Next path number" here you would put the coverage path number of the next group of numbers and select "hunt after coverage" to yes.

The PBX will automaticaly link all the coverage paths together for you.

either option should accomplish what you are looking to do.
