When I go through the auto attendant and for Tom you have to hit *T ext. 6766 and the # sign to get to his v/m and it just sits there and doesn’t go into his v/m.

System info:

Merlin key system > to Audix VM
 
you need to tell the Merlin to send calls to the voicemail.
That is done via coverage group 1 or 30 depending who installed it. Best is to do a printout of a working extension and look at that one then go into the system and add the 6766 to that coverage group. (I hope I make sense here)

Unfortunately , that didn’t work. When they do his *T6766# it clicks over but then nothing no ringing.I am basically walking the recptionist through this process,I am in texas and the site is in San Diego.
 
That means that the Audix has no clue about the mailbox, I am sorry but Audix is not my thing. Do you have remote access? It is a long walk from Texas to SD
