Coverage Group-public numbering/local numbering

hi there,
we have set up a virtual station with a coverage path and an assigned coverage group with some stations.
the numbers these stations are sending off-net is done in the public numbering table and works fine.
we now want the stations of the coverage group to send the station ID of the virtual station on-net instead of their own station IDs(internal calls from these stations to other departments).
is this possible?

If I understand your question, all you would have to do is make the change in the public numbering table, instead of sending out there own number, change it to the virtual station number.

no, we want to send different numbers off- and on-net.
off-net is already fine via public numbering.

as far as i understood, private numbering is used for manipultion between private PBXs connected with trunks(is this correct?).
what we want to do does not involve trunks, we are staying on the same PBX.
