Counting digital Stations on SV8500

My company is replacing an SVP8500 with a new PBX and i am trying to determine how many analog and Digital phones I have . I have a LENS printout and went thru and assigned a value of Analog,Digital and Virtual depending on the TEC type. I also have a Listup of the of the Dterm button programming(LKYD). When I count all of the stations with TEC of 12 I get 554 , when I count all of the stations listed on LKYD I get a much lower number. is there a better way to do this? or can i have a Dterm assigned to a LENS and not have any button programming?

The LED on the circuit card will be out when a station is assigned. It will be on solid if there is no assignment. Flashing means the station is in use. You can look at the hardware. The list out you got will tell you if a station exists, but not if nobody is using it anymore. Therefore you may count more stations than you need. If you have an SMDR program you can run a report that may help determine which stations are still in use.

Thanks for the reply, I get that , but for right now i am just looking for raw numbers, I am more curious on the differences between the 2 reports. Why would the Dterm button programming listup have a different station count then the LENS report. Can you program a digital station without programming any button assignments?

It may be a station that once existed in the system and was later removed. The button data remains.

Its actually the opposite, the number of stations showing in the dterm button list up is much less than the Lens data
