Hi, I am a Newbie to Crystal Reports, I am using Version 10

I want to add a figure on to my Report based on a count of the (LoggedCalls.CallNo) Logged on our system and based on the Criteria of whether the (WorkOrders.TimeResponded) is > than the (LoggedCalls.TimeOut), i.e Missed Response Calls.

However I cannot figure out how you do this in Select Expert.

The Report is already showing me the Data (Number of Calls) between a Start Date and an End Date.

Can anybody help please?

You don't want to do that in your select expert as that would limit the records in the entire report to that condition. Create a formula in the formula editor:

if {WorkOrders.TimeResponded} > {LoggedCalls.TimeOut} then 1

Then place the formula in the details section, right click on it, and insert a summary (SUM, not count).

Thanks lbass, I have added it to the report and it has calculated the figure. Is there anyway of putting it in the Report Header or must it stay in the Report Footer.

Thanks
Thermalman

You can create a second formula, using the first formula (let's call it {@MissedCalls}), as in:

sum({@MissedCalls})

Place this new formula in the report header.
