countif values between...help please!! Excel 1

Hi all, and Merry Xmas!!

Last problem b4 close for holidays....

I'm trying to do a countif the values in the range are between x and y. I can't seem to work out the syntax for doing this and it seems such an easy thing!!! ARRGGHH

I could use custom filters and counts but the user wants the value to be displayed in a cell at the bottom of the range.

What am i missing??
