I am wondering with the default settings on a cisco 12.4 ios router if there is a way to get a count of all the prefixes that have traffic on them in the last few minutes. Ideally want to determine the average number of prefixes that have traffic on them in a given hour. Just looking for a ball park figure. I would think there is a way to get this from the default CEF stats. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

sh ip cef
sh ip nat trans *

E: Couldn't find package windows...Thank Goodness!

I was playing around with sh ip cef earlier but that just seems to show every /24 prefix in the bgp table.. NBAR would work, just looking for a quick #.. I'm thinking sh ip cef and some other option will give the answer.. Any other ideas?
