I want to record in the database of subcontractors how many jobs they have been assigned (from the jobs database)

I think I need a calculated field in the subcontractors database with a formula to count how many times they appear in the jobs database.

However I am struggling as to the formula. Any help would be appreciated

The formula is SCount(Jobs.Field) where Field is any field in Jobs that will always be filled in.

The summary option for the calc field is important. If it's to go on a form or report body panel based on subcontractors then the option must be "All records in jobs"

If it's in a report summary panel the option should be "Summaries where placed"
