This might be a dumb question, but with a combo card, could I connect phone lines (7-8) to the trunk ports (9-12) to simulate an inbound call?

I have an analogue extension off our IP Office that I use to connect to a new system for testing hunt group time profiles and greetings when I'm bench testing a new deployment.
It's not to be used permanently and telephony isn't accurate in regards to switch hook timers and disconnect clear when you hang up etc., but it works for a bench test.

Some men learn by listening, some by observing, some by talking, some others need to pee on the electric fence.

Thanks, it is working well enough. I just didn't want to break this IPO, it's not mine.

Yes as Montyzummer stated it works but it will not disconnect so you will need to disconnect it through system status or unplug the connection to reset port

If you configure the analog station port in Extensions as IVR, you should get disconnect supervision, making manual disconnect unnecessary.
