Hi!

I got this neat hop effect that I put into my page in frontpage. It works fine there in preview (it hops/jumps), but when I went to upload it on the net, it wasn't there!

There is supposed to be a sentence underneath the sentence "Bill's Appliance Service".......it should read:
"Welcome to My Website".

This is where it is at:

I can see it in the source, but have not a clue why it is not working live - would anyone know what's wrong with this one?

Thanks, Tina

Hi Tina,

The style in your <h3> tag makes it unvisible. If you delete the part style=&quot;position: relative !important; visibility: hidden&quot; it will work.

Hope this helps,

I took out that part, and uploaded the page, but that sentence winds up on the page, but it is static, it isn't hopping/jumping like it is supposed to.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Tina

When I looked at the page the line of code Boomerang said to delete is still there. I'd double check that.

If you look at the HTML code for your page it refers to an external JavaScript called &quot;animate.js&quot; within the HEAD tag. That needs to be uploaded as well for it to work. I would recommend eliminating the &quot;../../&quot; that is directly in front of &quot;animate.js&quot; in the source code. These &quot;../../&quot; tell the page that the code is located two directories higher then the page itself. Eliminating that and uploading that code to the same directory as the HTML page should help.

One word of caution. Some servers do not use FrontPage extensions. If this is the case none of the fancy &quot;bells & whistles&quot; Frontpage can do will work when uploaded to the server. I would contact Geocities to find out if more you have any questions regarding that.
