Can anyone open a Quark 5.0 file and save it as a 4.0 file?

I was using 6.1 at home and have 4.1 at work. I brought my file with me (saved as 5.0) and of course I can't open it!

If you can spare a minute and help me out I'd be greatly appreciative.

Thanks,
Chris

I'm not sure where you are when you say, "I brought my file with me (saved as 5.0) and of course I can't open it!"

Home or work?

No version of Quark will open a document created in a higher version. If you want to open a v4 document that was created in v6, you'll need v5 installed somewhere.

Save the v6 as v5, quit, launch Quark v5, open and save the document as v4. Then you can open it at work.

Good grief... are we reading the first sentence?

Someone with Quark 5 is being requested to take Chris' Q5 document to save down to version 4. This will result in hugs.

Chris, if the file is a reasonable size, you can send it to spamjim@yahoo.com (yes - this is a real address)

I might be able to convert it tonight when I have a spare minute. No hugs are needed.
