I'm not sure I understand the error. Are you having issues in receiving VM to Email? Is this an error that you receive when opening the config file?

I am having the same problem at a site. When you open PMPro it says "Could not retrieve user email IDs from the IPOffice

DT or DS started to see this error after R3 release suspect its to do with XP fire wall or location of the moon. Just guessing?

I have gotten this pop up window with Phone Manager since first version 3 and since then. I have XP with firewall off but still get it whenever the network connection to the IP Office resets. For instance on wireless and move out of range and then come back or when connecting the VPN connection when outside the office. I cannot find any documentation refering to email IDs but it is annoying. The only thing I can think of is the Instant Messaging but I am not doing anything with that.

This is a funny little error. When I've had it, it has been because Usernames have had too many spaces or there have been lots of upper case letters in them.

One client of ours loves to change user IDs, so when I set them back to a nice and tidy "J Smith", the errors just faded away.

Now, Avaya, what on Earth has that got to do with Email IDs???

May be worth a try.

Other thing could be something to do with the change in profile type. Version 3 of Phone Manager handles profiles very different to the previous versions. The registry is not used as much now, and instead, XML files in the user's My Docs folder are used.

You could try deleting and recreating the user profiles.
