Could crystal report read txt file?

As the topic, could crystal report read the txt file?
i have not found this choice, if it exits, where is it? thank you very much
 
What version of Crystal are you using?

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.
 
A text file is a tad vague.

If you mean a CSV or SDF type of text file, set up an ODBC connection to the file, and then use that in Crystal.

i am sorry that i did not tell the version of the crystal report, the version is XI, the file is a normal txt file, which could be opened by a windows notebook.

if it is not a csv or sdf file, it is just a normal text file with the content like this:

id name school
1 ** ***
2 *** **
3 ** *****

could i use it as a datasource in crystal report? i try to use it in odbc connection, and i found there were some options related to txt, but i test failed, so could it work if the file has a structure above?
