Having problems with my copper lines. I have changed the cot trks to lop and grd start and still nothing. When i make a local call it rings one or twice then i get some type of redirect recording. We have a T1 for the did and another t1 for out long distanc. ant the copper lines for our local cots lines.

You need to match starting arangment with what ever CO is providing. Use a Butt set to test line directly - bypassing switch.
Change PBX programming to match with arrangement you found.

While testing with but set dial your number and see if you can get through. if not try dialing a 9 infront - these may be centrex line. if still not - call your provider and report trouble. Once you know what it takes to dial you can setup switch to match.

you can bypass bars by dialing the acod of hte rdb, make sure targ and tgar do not match
