What is the best way to keep a webpage in Front Page 2000 the same regardless of monitor size or resolution? I have designed all my pages so far using tables set at 100% width. My webpage looks good on a 15" monitor and 800x600 resolution but if I view it at a higher resolution, there are positioning problems. Thank you.

I would suggest putting your design in a table set at a particular width... I use 750.

Thank you for your reply. Is there any problem in setting the width at 780 pixels and leaving 20 for the scroll bar? Would you know by chance know how to remove a shared border?
MS Help is no help. I am trying to get a footer which has the copyright information etc., which is a shared border into a table? Is that possible?

Thanks,

Bob

to remove a shared border you can

1) rightclick on the page (in Normal Mode) and choose shared borders
if you want the shared border removed from ALL pages then choose the option button for all pages... OTHERWISE choose selected page only...

then click/unclick all the boxes for the borders you wish to remove...

2) in the menubar choose "Format" > Shared Borders and then choose appropriately....

-----
the information in your shared border will still be there, you just won't be able to see it... if you re-enable the borders the information that was there previously will still be there UNLESS you changed the shared border on another page..

-----

to get the information from the shared border onto your page just select/copy/paste it into the cell of the table you want.. then remove the border...

hope this helps some...
