Hi,

I have some corrupted word documents, i want to know how can i change the header structure for this document similar to a working word document, using Hex editor.

Please guide me if its possible.

Thanks.

use hex editor on an uncorrupted Word document or open a new document and you can get the header info from there and enter it in the corrupted document.

Yes, i did this, but how to know what are the header info is?
Is it at the end of the file (read somewhere on some forum) or the very first line?

I want to know which part in the hex editor indicates the header portion of the word file.

Thanks

does the hex editor u are using have the ascii converter?
if so switch to it and see if that helps

That screenshot is not a word document. It's a .exe file.
