Howdie!
I really don't know where to start..
A client running 9.0.73
Manager runs very very slow and I guess I know already why (too many hunts..., 1500+ inc call routesto ind hunt).
A validation takes a good 10 minutes but at the end, there are no errors showing.
Tried to load the backup on another unit results for the Unit to completely lock up. Fixed red lights. Dead.
Another Tech spoke to Avaya who believed the Unit was faulty and replaced it, along with the SD Card.
2 new units, both locked up again upon upolading this DB.
Loading a cfg of about 3 month ago seems to be working.
How can we possibly find any errors? Since there are no errors showing?
Any suggestions please?

Many thanks
Leo

How big is the config file?

Hard to know with out looking at it, would expect Avaya to request the config so they can check it out. Isn't that what support is for? =)

Have you checked SSA or are you referring to the errors within Manager? Also if you look in embedded file management what do you see?

Thank you.
System Status shows no errors at the moment.
Haven't checked Embedded but I will soon..
File size about 600k

Did you import something into the config? Could be as simple as some character messing this up that you don't see in Manager.

As you saying you have 1500 hunt group?
or adding all users + groups + ICR is 1500?

Sent the config file to Avaya.
they found a corruption on the boot up apparently.
Had to load a older backup.

Thanks to all..

TO answer previous questions: 1500 hunt groups, 1500 ICR and 40 users..
I know .. too many ..
going to eliminate hunts and create users with no extensions..
your thoughts?

Intrigrant already suggested using TAG in ICR and use TAGs for announcements... but I cannot see where the TAG is presented in TAPI :(

1500 huntgroups isn't even supported, max is 300 on non-select.

and users? Manager 9.0

Depends if it's Server Edition or IP500.

Thank you ..
but i could have more than 384 right? Just virtual isers badically, without assign extension

You could but it's not supported. Before they said extensions but they've changed it to users.

Maximum number of Huntgroups is
300 IP500v2 / SE 9.x
500 SE Select 9.1
600 SE Select 10.0

Do they have VM pro?

I created an announcement for users rather than many HG's once. Use a voice question in reverse to annouce to the HG / users to remind them how answer the phone.

Reduced the number of groups to a few...

Can't do that I'm afraid.
Via TAPI, we display the relevant client (not an hunt group).
What I'm thinking of doing, is to create 1500 users (with no extension) and only use a bounch of hunt groups.
Let's see...

Question: is there a \telephone system with 'unlimited' hunt groups...
basically something that handles multiple companies within one

I did this with a customer using a lot of ICRs all pointing to the same huntgroup, then we used TAG to display the client info via TAPI.

Hi Janny,
same suggestion from INtrigrant..
problem is : where is the TAG displayed via TAPI?

Can't test it right now, but it might be set as CALLER_NAME.

Is it self-developed or from 3rd party?
