Hi, I was working on a submenu in my day auto attendant caller app on the MAS. It wouldn't let me save my changes; I would make the changes, save, exit caller apps and go back in. The changes were not there. I contacted my vendor for assistance. It seems they made a couple changes I didn't know about through a Logmein session; I couldn't see what they were doing. They must've left the session open, because when I later made and deployed my changes, the system went haywire. For a short time, no auto attendant message played at all. I actually rebooted the MAS, thinking it needed its periodic reboot. When I looked into it further, I saw an association my vendor added that wasn't needed. I fixed the association and then the auto attendant played again. However, any menu items in the caller app that say Menu only have the left pane grayed out so I cannot change the Action back to Transfer and put in an extension. Is the file corrupt and should be rebuilt or is there a way to get back to edit mode? Thanks for any assistance in advance!

The reason for the grayed out option is that there are nodes below it. In order to change a level in a caller app, either nodes below it have to be compatible with it or no nodes be below it.

I'm intrigued, Texeric. I couldn't find anything in the Avaya documentation about node compatibility. Could you please elaborate?

It's kind of self explanatory. If you have a app level assigned to anything other than a menu type then that will consider the end of the line for that branch of the caller app tree and no nodes would be below it.

If you have a menu type option chosen then you can have sub nodes, and are still able to change the higher menu item to some other menu type (as long as it stays within the menu type option). All other options are not possible if there are nodes below this level of the caller app.
