Corrupt ArcserveIT 6.6 database

I'm running ArcserveIT 6.6sp4 on Novell 5.1sp4. I have it set to prune the database every two months but it never makes it that long.
After a month or so it stops writing to the database. Merge doesn't work either. I have to replace the database with the an empty one then merge the tape and restore the file.
Is there a better way to repair or run maintenance on the database so I don't have to keep replaceing it?

Have you checked any fo the following patches to see if they fix your databse problem??

i would try the support pack again first.
