Good Morning,

Can someone please guide me through the correct way of tearing down an ACD? I have a doctors office that's being converted to Cisco and I'm stuck tearing down a couple Agent phones. I know how to tear down our non-ACD phones and point them to Cisco however, I'm unable to do the same for ACD Agent phones. Below is all the information I believe relevant to the ACD that I will be eliminating.

Thank you have a nice Friday.

Check for DNIT (DNI),ACDGP,ACDRT (ART STEP),AGENT AMO entries.
"I'm unable to do the same for ACD Agent phones" - what exactly doesn't work ?

Good Morning adiby,

The problem I'm having is deleting ACD phones that I need to point to Cisco. We are moving a couple small doctors offices to Cisco. On cut day I run a small macro (example below) that deletes their Siemens phones and routes those extension to Cisco. When running my macro I noticed that it won't let me tear down any phones associated with an ACD. I just need to know the easiest way to deleted these phones when they error out in my macro. (examples below) I'm not too worried about the actual ACD itself on cut day I just need to know how to delete the phone when it errors out during my macro.

Thank you adiby, have a nice day.

Rob

Why do you want to use a Macro ?
Using Macro you cannot be sure what errors will occur.
Macro make sense when you are trying to delete many numbers from the system but not few ACDs
I would suggest to delete the ACD numbers step by step.
In this way you can see the error and system provides hints:

THE STATION CANNOT BE PROCESSED WHILE ACD ATTRIBUTES ARE
STILL SET
( CHANGE-SDAT:STNO=3507,TYPE=ATTRIBUT,
DATTR=SUPER&AGENT&AUTOLOG&CAF; )

With ACD it can happen that station to be present also in an ACDRT as an Route step for example (ARTSTEP as I mentioned above) and you will need first to delete this step before.
You will loose more time by trying to correct a Macro, than deleting numbers step by step (especially with ACD and Keyset).

Because the cuts I’m doing range from 50 to 150 phones and most of them have two or more extensions. I only listed the one extension here as an example of my process.

I’m actually a NEC Tech who was asked to do MAC support only for this site and all their doctors practices. I’d never even seen a Siemens system before taking a two week crash course. Therefor I’ve never really had to work with the ACD’s and I need a little assistance removing agent phones when I run across them. I guess what I’m saying is I don’t know the proper steps involved in removing an ACD agent phone, or the whole ACD if that’s what is needed.

Here are the ACD Agent phones from my original post that I know I'm going to run across during my next cut.

As I wrote:

If you have blocking points/errors post it here.
Eventually attach a complete Regen file here.

That is what i'm saying I do not know the "step by step" process for building, or removing, ACD's. I use Assistant and Comwin daily for moves, adds, changes, and maintenance. However, I was never taught anything at all about Siemens ACD's and now I'm really struggling to remove ACD phones whenever I run across them.

I'm simply looking for somebody to point me in the right direction. Something like, check this AMO first for your agent phone, then check this AMO, and if your agent phone is set as a Supervisor then do this to remove the Supervisor attribute.
