Correct LWP Update for PDT6842

I'm trying to get a new Symbol PDT6842 to associate with one of our APs.

I tried installing LWP 4.00-14, but it won't associate with our Netgears or Linksys APs. I thought this might be because the drivers are 802.11, so I downloaded LWP 5.00-38, but the TCPIP stack won't load because of register/firmware problems (seems that the 6842 won't support that version, despite what I read in the docs).

Any ideas please?
