on a cs1000 pbx, I recently setup a phone (repurposed an existing tn and made the necessary name settings for the new employee).

Beforehand it had been a hotdesk phone with no permanant employee there.

He recently mentioned that the phone number that is displayed to the caller is not his, but the main business number. I did a comparison between his and another where I verified it showed the calling dn and I am not seeing a difference.

This phone displays the main number to the person being called

Although they are separate prefixes/exchanges 307 vs 276 they should both be DID's.

What am I missing or where should I look to make this change?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If they are different exchanges then they should have different CLID entries. They both are using CLID entry 0 on every key.

So on TN 244 0 10 06 you have
03 SCR 74453 0 MARP
The 0 is the CLID entry. I think it needs to be something else, probably 1, but that's only a guess.
Do you have other phones with DNs that start with 7? What CLID entry are they using?

You can print your CLID entries in LD 21.
Your entry 0 probably looks something like this:

ENTRY 0
HNTN xxx <- whatever your area code is
ESA_HLCL xxxxxxx <- this would be site specific or blank for ESA calls
ESA_INHN YES <- this would be site specific
ESA_APDN NO <- this would be site specific
HLCL 27 <- first 2 digits of your 276 NXX (exchange)
DIDN YES
DIDN_LEN 0
HLOC
LSC
CLASS_FMT DN

So fot the DNs that start with 7 you need another CLID entry that looks something like this

ENTRY 1 <- I'm calling it 1 but it could be any number
HNTN xxx <- whatever your area code is
ESA_HLCL xxxxxxx <- this would be site specific or blank for ESA calls
ESA_INHN YES <- this would be site specific
ESA_APDN NO <- this would be site specific
HLCL 30 <- first 2 digits of your other 307 NXX
DIDN YES
DIDN_LEN 0
HLOC
LSC
CLASS_FMT DN

Thank you. I printed the CLID entries as below

I changed it from his SCR Clids from 0 to 1. It now displays his number when I call my cell phone.

I have one other 307 number that we have handed out (all the older 27x DID's are taken, I suppose) and when I tested it just now was doing the same thing. I will make a similar change for the CLID.

Thanks again.
