On this subject of corp dir. Mine has got a lot of duplicates that I wanna get rid of. I try manualy deleting them and then uploading it but that does not work.
How do I completely delete it and let it download it from the switch?
Using OTM, go to Utilities in main screen and select Corp Directory, select M1 corp directory. On the last tab, upload, select to schedule upload. When directory is created it uses the Employee directory and CPND information in OTM. If both keys 0 and 1 are named it will show up in the directory. In Employee editor you can tell it what number to Publish. Review the CSV file in Notepad and make any needed changes before the scheduled time to upload. Save as CSV file when complete.
Thats what I do - I manualy delete the line I don't want in the .csv file. I then say upload. But the names are still comming up in the corp dir. If I check in my station admin and cpnd box its not there - so for some reason its not uploading it
You need to be on the main OTM screen, the first screen where you would select a site. Make sure that when you edit that it is saved in the C:\otm\comon data\M1 Corporate directory.csv. I just ran it Deleted all the names and uploaded and all names are gone. If doing this Leave the header row only.
As soon as i upload it goes thourgh but very quickly. doesn't seem to send it - when I go look in the csv file there is nothing there. I check on my phones copr dir and everything is still there
Jip - that is what happens all the time - i am sure there is a bit of corruption. is there another way to delete and re-create. sorry man - never had any otm training.
You might want to look in the uploader.log file. This is in the Nortel/Local Data directory on the OTM server. This tells you if you are having errors during the upload process. I am getting CDIR_FTP_ERROR:Error in file transfer. Anyone see this before? I have been using Corp Directory for a month and it works fine. We added 50 phones and tried running this report and can't upload it. The CSV file that is created looks fine, but it won't upload to the Call Server.
