Coreldraw 9 menu won't show???

Hi,
a friend of mine bought Coreldraw 8. Everything worked fine. Then she bought an update to Coreldraw 9. It installed without a problem but the menu bar won't show (the bar with: file, view,etc). She working with Windows XP home edition.
Is this a know problem? Anyone know how to solve this?

With the application closed down, hold down the F8 key and then start CorelDRAW. Leave your finger on the F8 key untill you see a message that asks if you want to overwrite the workspaces. Answer yes to this message. There you go. Menus are back.
