Please help I am pulling what is left of my hair out! I am trying to print a picture of a border and text with a laser engraver (it works the same as an ink printer) on the screen it looks fine, as soon as I print it though it is corrupt, but not always. I have saved the file as many different formats. The original image comes from a scan which I imported into Corel. I have even traced around the image with a vector and cut and pasted that but I still get the same problems. I have tried to use serif Pageplus9 Adobe photoshop etc but again no luck. I have to use this one image I can't use another one. This message may seem to make no sense at all but it is difficult to explain.
I would be very grateful of any help.
Regards Larkeys

What do you mean by it prints as though it's corrupt? It's not really clear at all as to what you mean.

I mean The file I am using doesn't print as it is on the screen. It is a picture of a border but when I print it, it has strange edges and harsh burns on the left hand side (remember it is a laser engraver printing onto wood). It is hard to explain without seeing it.

Could your settings be wrong? I mean speed, power, colours for cutlines, engraving etc? Could you have selected the wrong material or have you recently changed your supplier of wood? Have you tried selecting 'All text as black' ?

Thanks for your help. The problem was down to my engraver and not the software (took ages to find out though). I had it fixed and has now gone wrong again, I give up!!.

I have another problem, when I import some clip-art or photos into draw 11 and print them (with the laser engraver) I sometimes get hairlines around the picture that are invisible on the screen. They don't show up if I print with an inkjet printer though. Any help would be a Appreciated.

what software/driver are use using to engrave? is it trotec?
