I am used to using a rolldown from Corel 8 to select (with the eyedropper) the line width, colour and style in one motion and re apply it to another object. Corel 10 doesn't seem to have this function and I would like to know what has replaced it. I have tried the eyedropper in the toolbar by selecting the outline with the eyedropper and trying to apply it with the paint bucket but this doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

have you tried rightclicking on Object A, dragging over to Object B, and then choosing one of the copy functions from the popup menu?
