Hi all,

I would ask if, for example, I have 4 Core Switches that are not stackable. Is it okay to connect them, cascade using SFP module, and then 1 of them DHCP enabled and the other 3 DHCP disabled? These core switches are for surveillance system application only.

Yes, it is, provided that the VLAN with the DHCP server is in the trunk that interconnects the switches.
Please note that one of the links will be suspended by STP to avoid bridge loops, since you have more than one path to each switch. That's OK, since it will work as a redundant link and will activate if the other path goes down.
