What's the best way to convert a script into a daemon?
I've written a script which runs 24/7 in the background, I guess spawning and eating up processes. This seems to randomly spawn "core" dump files within my data directory area! What's the best way around this, and not being the most technical UNIX user on the planet, i've forgottem how to read / manipulate core dump files!

man core
Pay attention to the See also section.

Hope This Help

Great - haven't got the manual page for "core" - could you possibly email it to me!

I think you must have Development System for this sort of man page.
