core dump

Hi

I get a core dump file, when I log into the system. But if remote login then no core dump happens. And when I try to read the core dump file I get the following errors,

Can any one help me. whats wrong. Why is this core file created when I login.

hi,

are there any errors reported in errpt -a | pg
if you do strings core | grep _=
which file if any does it report , which generated the core file.

How big is your core file.

what maintenance level have you got installed

I did run errpt -a, I saw there was a error on program rpc.ttdbserver. How can I solve this.

I am running ML 10 AIX 4.3.

I have found the solution. The /etc/resolv.conf file was not right. Now the problem is solved.
