Hello,
I've got to hookup two ATA's for a customer. What is the best setup as far as programming or training them on the most common features. As fellow installers I would like to know what the general public uses the most when using a cordless off the system? Thanks for the help.
Dmac,

As long as the cordless phones have a flash key all the features will work, of course they will have to press flash then * followed by the feature code. The flash key kinda of takes the place of the feature key. For them to gain access to an outside line they must dial a 9. Good Luck..

I would recommend using the T7406 if you need to do much call handling with the cordless. The cost an analog cordless phone and the ATA doesn't save you that much over the cost of the T7406. The T7406 doesn't require an ATA and you only buy one base station for up to 3 7406s.

Hello,
The end to another long day. The cordless install went good. The only thing that may be a problem is the cheap phones they bought. When the buttons are pushed they sometimes don't make the tone you're supposed to here when pushed. Once that was cleared up they did'nt have any problem with feature use. Thanks again for the help.
Dmac,
