Cordless phone for Avaya?

Thank you CBB,
Unfortunately we do not have Wi-Fi. We looked into Spectralink, but all we need is a single phone with those capabilities. Any other ideas?
Thank you

Plantronics makes all of them for Avaya. I would check their site.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.

I've used the 9040 for a wireless solution. It's not great, but if you only need 1 phone then thats the way to go. You need to re register the stupid thing every now and then as it "forgets" where the base staiton is.

It does have transfer and conference buttons, so your good there.

Depending on your software load I suggest getting a cell phone that will run one-X mobile. The one-X mobile software basically replaces your cell phone screen and gives you pretty good functionality as an extension off of your pbx (Conference, Transfer, Idle Appearance Select, etc...). Requires block of DID numbers/ISDN for Feature Name Extension (FNE) and EC500 RTU for setup. Basically the phone acts like an extension off of the PBX. Get a calling plan with unlimited local calling. LD can be routed into and then back out the PBX. Avaya just released software for Windows Mobile 5 and I love it.

Thank you everyone for your help. Considering the price and design, my user decided to go with 9040.
